MULTI-APPLICATION control box: Versatile, configurable and upgradeable!

The MULTI-APP control box is an essential element of the LEADER HASTY MS system. VERSATILE: This MULTI-APPLICATION box connects alternately to 5 interchangeable USAR devices depending on needs in the field! CONFIGURABLE: This MULTI-APPLICATION box makes it possible to assemble your bespoke kit by including only the search devices you need now. UPGRADEABLE: The MULTI-APPLICATION box allows you to add search devices at any time! Find more information on the MULTI-APPLICATION box at the following link: MULTISEARCH Concept Expertise!

3-IN-1 FEATURES: seismic detection + visual location + thermal location of buried people!

This USAR kit incorporates: - 3 wireless seismic sensors (SEARCH) to detect vibrations caused by a victim, - 1 colour search camera (CAM) enabling visual searching for victims buried under wreckage. - 1 thermal imaging search camera (TIC) making it possible to detect/search for heat sources corresponding to a potential victim still alive in a dark and/or dusty environment. LEADER HASTY MS 4 USAR victim location equipment is supplied with a MULTI-APPLICATION box to combine seismic detection of buried people (listening equipment) and visual location (colour and thermal)! The 3 wireless seismic sensors (SEARCH) detect the waves/vibrations generated people trapped under rubble! With an unobstructed range of 100 m, they enable the area to be triangulated quickly to detect the presence of survivors. The colour search camera (CAM) is used by specialised search and rescue-clearance teams to visually locate victims buried under wreckage. It also enables communication with the victim to establish the threat to their life. The thermal imaging search camera (TIC) is used to detect heat sources between 0°C and 120°C. This makes it very easy to identify a living body in the middle of the rubble. It's very useful in dark, dusty and smoke-filled spaces, etc. The two detachable camera heads make it possible to switch from a thermal image to locate the victim's body quickly to a colour image to refine the search by better understanding the victim's condition and environment. Conversely, if the operator is using the colour camera (CAM), the thermal imaging camera (TIC) will enable the rescuer to confirm whether it's a victim using the thermal image. The control box and navigation interface have been specifically designed for colour and thermal visual searches for buried victims!

Upgradeable USAR search equipment!

The MULTI-APP box makes this kit upgradeable! It is now possible to combine seismic detection (listening equipment fitted with 3 seismic sensors = SEARCH device) and visual location using the colour search camera (= CAM device) and thermal imaging search camera enabling visual location of buried victims. However, it is possible to upgrade this kit at a later date by adding: - and/or the camera head waterproof to 90 m (RD90 device), - and/or the movement detection function with UWB ground penetrating search radar (SCAN device).

Backpacks specially developed for USAR search and rescue teams!

The LEADER HASTY MS is packed in a backpack, itself placed in a rigid, waterproof case to meet transport and storage requirements in USAR operations areas. The backpack allows the rescuer to leave the heavy case at the command post. In this way the rescuer can very easily transport the victim location device to the search area.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS

The LEADER HASTY MS is a USAR device that combines a MULTI-APP control box with:
- 3 seismic sensors (SEARCH devices) to detect the vibrations caused by people under wreckage and locate their positions under rubble,
- a colour search camera (CAM device) to visually locate victims,
- and a thermal imaging search camera (TIC) to detect hotspots.

ULTRA-SENSITIVE SEISMIC SENSORS
SEARCH seismic detectors, also called 'seismic listening equipment', are ultra-sensitive to offer USAR specialists exceptional sound quality.
The LEADER HASTY MS 2 has 3 wireless seismic sensors, each with an unobstructed range of 100 m (due to their flexible aerial ensuring optimum connectivity and an LED button to indicate connection to the box),
The wireless seismic sensors are very simple to use compared with cabled sensors (no cables to manage).
Lightweight and compact, they can be easily transported in a pocket. They are also equipped with a carrying strap making them easier to position and carry in the field.

CAM: A COLOUR SEARCH CAMERA HEAD
The colour search camera head (CAM device) enables visual location of people trapped in hard-to-access areas.
It is also possible to talk to the victims to assess their condition using the integrated microphone/loudspeaker.
The CAM colour search camera swivels through 260°, is waterproof and equipped with LEDs better to see the victims in the dark.
Attached to an ultra-light carbon fibre telescopic pole, it can reach inaccessible areas up to 2.4 m away once extended (4 m option available).

TIC: A THERMAL IMAGING SEARCH CAMERA HEAD
The TIC thermal imaging search camera is connected instead of the colour camera.
It provides a thermal view to identify a source of heat from a living body and so speed up victim location. It is used in various USAR use cases: reconnaissance, searches in the dark, in dusty environments or in smoke-filled areas, etc. Unlike IR LED technology that illuminates a target area using infrared light (such as a torch) LEADER uses an infrared sensor to detect heat between 0°C and 120°C. A victim will therefore be visible even if covered with dust or a blanket or behind foliage.

A NAVIGATION INTERFACE DESIGNED FOR VISUAL SEARCH
The navigation interface of this device has been designed for visual search. The navigation interface for this device has been designed to facilitate understanding of the scene observed as much as possible. The image is displayed on the whole screen and the pictograms used on the navigation interface are very discreet! The LEADER HASTY MS 4 kit makes it very simple to switch from a thermal image to a colour image and back again just by connecting and disconnecting the camera heads.

UPGRADEABLE KIT
The MULTI-APP control box makes this USAR kit upgradeable!
This box can also be connected to:
- the optional RD90 search camera, waterproof to 90 m (RD90 device) for explorations at great depths. The optional RD90 colour camera, waterproof to 90 m and fitted with a 90 m cable wound on a reel enables exploration at great depth. The fixed head is fitted with LED lights and does not swivel. A 90 m extension lead allows it to be lowered down to 180 m.
- and/or the ultra-wide band (UWB) ground penetrating radar sensor (SCAN device) that detects movements through 50 cm of concrete.

LEADER HASTY MS 4 victim location and rescue equipment forms part of the USAR equipment recommended by INSARAG.
