Main function: visual victim location!

This USAR kit incorporates: - a CAM colour search camera used in visual searches for buried victims. The LEADER CAM MS 1 is a USAR device combining a MULTI-APP control box with a CAM colour search camera to locate victims visually. The CAM colour camera is used to visually locate victims trapped in inaccessible areas and to talk to them to assess their need for assistance and rescue. The search camera is fixed on an ultra-light telescopic pole for great manoeuvrability in the field. The camera is waterproof, swivels and has LEDs to light and see the victims precisely. It is also equipped with a communication system to speak with the victim. The control box and navigation interface have been specifically designed for visual searches for buried victims!

An upgradeable life locator camera!

This kit is upgradeable! The MULTI-APP box supplements the LEADER CAM MS kit since it can also be connected to: - the thermal imaging search camera (TIC device) to view hotspots, - the optional RD90 search camera, waterproof to 90 m (RD90 device), for exploration at great depths. The optional RD90 colour camera, waterproof to 90 m and fitted with a 90 m cable wound on a reel enables exploration at great depth. The fixed head is fitted with LED lights and does not swivel. A 90 m extension lead allows it to be lowered down to 180 m. - seismic sensors (SEARCH devices) to detect the vibrations caused by people under wreckage, - an ultra-wide band (UWB) ground penetrating radar sensor (SCAN device) that detects movements through 50 cm of concrete.

A FULLY-FEATURED SEARCH CAMERA HEAD ON A CARBON FIBRE TELESCOPIC POLE
To enable good observation of a confined space and so easily and quickly find the victim, the camera head (CAM) swivels through 260° and is equipped with LEDs with 8 light levels. It is also equipped with a microphone and a loudspeaker to communicate with the victim, once located.

Carbon fibre was an obvious choice for our telescopic pole. It's ultra-light and so can be manoeuvred easily by just one rescuer! Its dimensions are 1.1 m long when retracted and 2.4 m when extended.

For faster searches, it is possible to separate the control box from the pole to enable two rescuers to handle the tool (one stays focused on the screen, the other handles the pole).

PRIORITY TO THE IMAGE
The navigation interface of this device has been designed to prioritise the image. The image is displayed on the whole screen and the pictograms used on the navigation interface are very discreet, enabling rescuers to understand the situation as quickly as possible!

OTHER SEARCH CAMERA DEVICES AVAILABLE
The colour search camera (CAM device) is used by rescue-clearance teams to locate victims buried under wreckage. However, it is also possible to conduct visual searches in wells (optional 90 m cable reels are used for these operations) or under water down to a depth of 180 m (using the RD90 device). UPGRADEABLE KIT
This kit can be upgraded at a later date by adding:

- the thermal imaging camera head (TIC device),
- and/or the camera head waterproof to 90 m (RD90 device),
- and/or the seismic detection/listening equipment function with seismic sensors (SEARCH devices),
- and/or the movement detection function with UWB ground penetrating search radar (SCAN device).
