MONO-APPLICATION control box: Designed for a single application!

The MONO-APP control box is designed for a single application: the listening function with 2 connected seismic sensors for this LEADER SEARCH 2C kit. The control box is not upgradeable; in other words, it's not possible to connect other devices to this control box. The box is compact and powered by a rechargeable battery with 5 hours running time. The control box screen is very bright, making it possible to see the screen in broad daylight. The box incorporates buttons below the screen giving direct access to control of each sensor. 4 other optional sensors can be added later to supplement the device (3 wireless + 1 cabled).

LEADER SEARCH 2C is listening equipment for victim location used during search-rescue-clearance operations following catastrophes. The wireless or cabled seismic sensors detect the vibrations caused by victims under the wreckage and reveal, using the triangulation technique, their precise location. LEADER SEARCH 2C includes 2 cabled seismic sensors with the option of adding up to 3 optional wireless sensors at a later date (each with an unobstructed range of 100 m) and 1 further optional cabled sensor (with 8 m of cable).

SEISMIC SENSORS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED FOR THE FIELD
The seismic sensors have been designed to detect the different sounds (vibrations) caused by victims trapped under debris following a catastrophe: scratching, knocks, shouts, etc., with exceptional sound quality.

Lightweight (690 g) and compact, they can be transported easily in a pocket. They are sealed (IP67) and are not sensitive to damp conditions or rain. They are also fitted with a flexible aerial for optimum connectivity, a carrying strap making them easier to position and carry, and an LED button to indicate connection to the box from a distance.

MINIMUM 2 SENSORS AND UP TO MAXIMUM 6 SENSORS
LEADER SEARCH 2C includes as standard 2 cabled seismic sensors with the option of adding up to 3 optional wireless sensors at a later date (EACH with an unobstructed range of over 100 m and 8 hours running time) and 1 further optional cabled sensor (with 8 m of cable each).

ADJUSTABLE NOISE FILTER
The noise filters make it possible for rescuers to eliminate interfering high- and low-pitched noise coming from pneumatic drills, rescue vehicles, the wind, cables, etc.

COMMUNICATE WITH THE VICTIM
An optional waterproof (IP67) communication probe equipped with an 8 m cable can be added to the LEADER SEARCH 2C. It enables communication with victims trapped under wreckage and assessment of their need for assistance.

ACCESSORIES FOR EVEN GREATER EFFICIENCY
For even greater efficiency, the seismic sensors can be equipped with:
- spikes: They provide better stability on loose ground, use at material joins or at cracks. The spike also allows improved detection of vibrations in soft ground (sand, earth, etc.).
- magnets: They enable mounting on metal structures commonly found in operations areas.
