Visual location of person trapped in a well, mine or deep confined space

The RD90 device is a colour victim location camera, waterproof to 90 m (also called 'optical instrument') designed to visually locate a person trapped in a deep enclosed space (well, tunnel, mine, etc.). Waterproof, the RD90 camera can be submerged in water to a depth of 90 m, enabling reconnaissance of deep flooded environments. It can be lowered into wells, caves, crevices or under water for all types of inspections by divers up to 90 m below the water level.

Camera head specially developed for damp or underwater environments

The RD90 search camera is a colour camera attached to a 90 m cable wound onto a reel. The RD90 camera head is fixed, meaning it is enclosed in a very strong casing providing a 90° field of view. It is waterproof to a depth of 90 m to enable investigations in very wet or underwater environments. It is also fitted with LEDS with 8 intensity levels. The camera lens is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass. Optional 25 m and 90 m extension leads (orange, abrasion-resistant cable) can be lowered to a depth of up to 180 m to inspect caves, crevices or wells.

90 m or 180 m cable

The RD90 camera head is attached to a 90 m abrasion-resistant cable wound onto a reel. Optional 25 m and 90 m extension leads can be lowered to a depth of up to 180 m to inspect cavities, crevices and wells. The RD90 can be connected to MULTI-APP control boxes (LEADER MULTISEARCH, CAM MS, SEARCH MS, HASTY MS and SCAN MS devices).

Navigation interface specifically developed to locate victims visually

Each item has been designed to make rescuers' work easier: - Compact and lightweight control box, - Extra-wide colour screen, - User-friendly graphic interface, - Intuitive and discreet menu to display the image over the whole screed, - Digital x2 zoom, - Screen rotation of the image top (0°), bottom (180°), - Display of light level from LEDs fitted on the camera head, - Adjustment of audio headset(s) and microphone volume, - Push-to-Talk (press to talk to the victim with the loudspeaker/microphone on the camera), - Takes photos, - Records videos, - Photo gallery, etc.
