The MULTI-APPLICATIONS (MULTI-APP) control box is ideal if: - you want to use several different devices, - you want to upgrade your kit over time (e.g. purchase in one year and add devices and/or options or accessories in subsequent years). MULTI-APP is the name for the MULTI-APPLICATION control box for connecting 1 to 5 items of search equipment alternately to a single control box! The MULTI-APP control box was created to connect even more devices, allowing multiple applications with the same box! The MULTI-APP box is the heart of the LEADER MULTISEARCH system. Depending on operational needs in the field, it is used to connect up to 5 interchangeable peripherals alternately: - 1 colour search camera (CAM) for visual victim location, - 1 thermal imaging search camera (TIC) to detect hotspots generated by victims, - 1 search camera waterproof to 90 m (RD90), - 3 wireless seismic sensors (SEARCH) to detect vibrations/noises made by a victim and their location, - 1 Ultra Wide Band radar sensor (SCAN) to detect and locate movements through materials. It is possible to upgrade a kit using a MULTI-APP box at any time. This means you can buy a kit one year and add LEADER search equipment (UWB SCAN search radar, CAM/TIC.RD90 search cameras, SEARCH seismic sensors, etc.) or accessories (pole, extension lead, audio headset, carrying case, backpack, battery, etc.) several months/years after your initial purchase.

Lightweight (1.4 kg with battery), compact and water-resistant (IP54), the MULTI-APP control box is designed to be used in dusty or damp environments. The screen includes a 3 mm scratch-resistant transparent protector. Its bright 7" screen can be seen in broad daylight (clear display of images filmed by cameras, bar graphs generated by the seismic sensors or movements detected by the radar sensor). Depending on the device used, the box's screen will display a full-screen extra-wide colour image (with CAM and RD90 search cameras), or full-screen extra-wide thermal images (with the TIC thermal imaging search camera), or bar graphs (with SEARCH seismic sensors), or an oscillogram and a cone representing the search area (with the UWB SCAN radar sensor). It is user-friendly and has keypads at top and bottom for right- and left-handed operators. A rubber ring surrounds the box to cushion impacts if dropped. There are raised edges around the top and bottom of the screen to protect it when placed face down on the ground. The box is delivered with a wrist strap and a neck strap. The graphic interface is intuitive and allows smooth navigation using the clear menu. Depending on the device used, the control box is connected either using a cable with IP68-protected connectors, or using WiFi (for seismic and radar sensors). Fitted with a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery, the control box has 2.5 hours running time.
