Life detectors accessories

To meet its clients’ specific needs, LEADER offers a wide range of accessories for its Urban Search And Rescue equipment:

ACCESSORIES COMMON TO ALL LEADER LIFE LOCATOR EQUIPMENT BOXES

The different life locator USAR equipment kits are all equipped with the same control box (MONO-APP or MULTI-APP). This means the range of accessories used with the box is compatible with all kits:

  • batteries with a 2.5 hour running time,
  • charger (with international adapters),
  • sun shade: ideal for searches in full sunlight,
  • noise-cancelling headsets to listen to seismic sensors and communicate with the victim.
  • shoulder strap.
     

ACCESSORIES DEDICATED TO USAR SEARCH CAMERAS

To increase the scope of LEADER search cameras, several accessories are available:

  • Ultra-lightweight carbon fibre telescopic pole for an optimal weight/strength ratio (1.7 kg without the camera). 3.7 m unfolded/1.2 m folded. IP67-rated connector which makes it waterproof once the camera is connected.
  • Abrasion-resistant reel-mounted extension leads (25 or 90 metres) for wired search and rescue cameras. It is possible to link two 90-metre reels for a total length of 180 metres, which is useful for searches in wells, crevasses or any other inaccessible space.
  • A hinged detachable arm used to fasten the control box to the pole and adjust its position.
     

ACCESSORIES DEDICATED TO SEISMIC SENSORS

  • Spikes: fitted to the base of sensors for greater stability, but also improved detection of vibrations in the ground, for example.
  • Magnets: fitted to sensors to be fastened to metal structures which can propagate vibrations.
  • Communication probe: Can be connected to LEADER SEARCH to communicate with the buried victim once detected and located.
     

ACCESSORIES DEDICATED TO THE UWB RADAR SENSOR

  • Battery, battery charger
  • 5-metre cable to connect the UWB rescue radar device to the control box for wired use in the event of interference
