Use of the LEADER SENTRY by BOSTON firefighters

On December 18th, a car crashed into a building in Boston. The building was evacuated and the driver of the car was taken away by paramedics.

The LEADER SENTRY laser range finder was used to secure the area.
LEADER SENTRY is a stability controller that detects structural movements of an unstable building. Its laser allows continuous monitoring of detected movements and displays variations for real-time monitoring.
It allows firefighters in fire response and USAR teams (rescue-clearance) to be alerted by a visual and audible alarm (105dB) when a structural movement, even minimal, is detected. They can thus carry out an emergency evacuation.
