PRESENTATION & DEMONSTRATION DAY WITH THE CBMMT - MATO GROSSO, BRAZIL
ON MONDAY 25TH OF MARCH 2024, LEADER, FIRE EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER, ORGANISED A DAY OF DEMONSTRATIONS AND LIVE FIRE TESTS AT THE TRAINING CENTRE OF THE CORPO DE BOMBIROS MILITARES DE MATO GROSSO (CBMMT) ACCOMPANIED BY A TEAM OF INSTRUCTORS AND OUR DISTRIBUTOR PARTNER BRASIMPEX.
THE FIREFIGHTERS PRESENT AT THE EVENT HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO DISCOVER AND TEST A RANGE OF EQUIPMENT IN REAL-LIFE CONDITIONS:
1) LEADER nozzles:
LEADER fire nozzles are perfectly adapted to firefighters' missions, enabling them to respond to the complexity of operational situations while offering unrivalled ease of use with an optimised jet and flow adjustment!
2) Foam proportioner LEADER-MIX:
The foam inductor proportioners LEADER MIX provide precise foam dosing from 5 bar, with flow rates varying from 200 to 1000 l/min for the LEADER MIX 200-1000 and from 300 to 2000 l/min for the LEADER MIX 300-2000. They are self-contained (no power supply required), easy to install and require little maintenance thanks to their simple mechanical design!
3) Portable foam Unit UPRIM:
With a 10-litre supply of fire-fighting foam, the portable fire-fighting foam unit has the extinguishing capacity of more than 40 fire extinguishers! It's extremely easy to use: simply fill the tank with foam through the large filler opening, then connect it to a pressurised water supply.
4) The BAFAN 3LI+ battery-powered fan:
Designed to be quickly transported to the scene of an incident (ideally, when you start a sentence like this, you should highlight the relevant features in the rest of the sentence), the BATFAN 3 Li+ has a compact, lightweight design and a strap for easy carrying by a single firefighter.
Powerful and self-contained, it delivers a constant flow rate of 18,600 m³/h (AMCA flow rate) for 50 minutes with a single battery, and 1h40 with two batteries. Featuring NEO technology (oval jet), the BATFAN 3 Li+ combines compactness and performance.
5) BIO FOR C foaming agent:
BIO FOR is the ecological (100% biodegradable) solution for extinguishing solid fires (class A) thanks to its wetting and foaming properties. The characteristics of the additives in the BIO FOR range ensure optimum effectiveness for extinguishing solid fires: forest fires, urban fires, industrial fires, etc. BIO FOR is also effective on hydrocarbon fires such as vehicle fires, slick fires, etc.
