USE OF OUR USAR EQUIPMENT DURING THE 2018 EARTHQUAKE IN INDONESIA
During the devastating earthquake that struck Palu in 2018, Indonesian rescue teams received support from a team of French volunteer firefighters. Equipped with LEADER's advanced technologies, they were able to carry out crucial Urban Search And Rescue operations.
- LEADER Search: These electronic listening devices are equipped with seismic sensors that allow for the detection and localization of victims based on vibrations. Thanks to this innovative technology, it is possible to hear the signals emitted by buried victims, providing precise and effective localization.
- LEADER Scan: These motion detection devices, equipped with UWB (Ultra Wide Band) radars, are capable of detecting movements through various materials such as concrete, wood, or glass. This technology facilitates the rapid localization of survivors, thereby increasing the chances of rescue.
