USAR LEADER EQUIPMENT USED TO FIND VICTIMS OF THE BEIRUT EXPLOSION

Following the explosion of August 4, 2020, which killed many people and caused much damage in the port of Beirut (Lebanon), 55 rescuers from the UIISC 1 were sent on August 5th to reinforce the local rescue forces. Within this detachment, 50 rescue-clearance specialists and 5 technological risk experts. The 55 rescuers from UIISC 1 worked day and night in 2 areas in order to search, locate and release victims on the surface or under the rubble using LEADER victim search equipment!
