LEADER TIC 3.3 THERMAL CAMERA TRAINING AT SDIS 80

SDIS 80

On Friday February 16th 2024, fire equipment supplier LEADER organized a training course within SDIS 80 for three fire brigades, bringing together a total of 16 participants. The main aim of the course was to train firefighters on how to use the LEADER TIC 3.3 fire thermal imaging camera to improve their efficiency in firefighting operations.

PARTICIPANTS BENEFITED FROM AN IN-DEPTH TWO-PART TRAINING COURSE:

1) INTERPRETING THERMAL IMAGES DURING FIREFIGHTING OPERATIONS :

Knowing how to interpret thermal images is essential for any firefighter on a call-out. Unfortunately, this skill is frequently underestimated and neglected. Many firefighters fail to exploit the full potential of thermal imaging cameras.
As part of this training course, firefighters are familiarized with thermal image interpretation techniques, which will enable them to improve their operational efficiency. Indeed, by knowing how to better interpret thermal images, they will be in a better position to make enlightened decisions during interventions on the spot.

2) MASTERING LEADER TIC 3.3 THERMAL IMAGING FIREFIGHTING CAMERAS

LEADER TIC thermal imaging cameras are specially designed to meet the specific needs of firefighters in fire-fighting and rescue operations.

The LEADER TIC 3.3 thermal imaging camera stands out for its efficiency and versatility. Weighing just 870g and equipped with 3 intuitive action buttons, it is particularly well-suited to indoor fire attacks. Featuring advanced functions such as 5 color modes, video recording, photo-taking, laser pointer, zoom and more, this camera incorporates an ultra-sensitive infrared sensor and wide-angle lens, guaranteeing clear, detailed vision in difficult conditions. What's more, it features a germanium window to protect the optics.

LEADER attaches great importance to training its customers, not only in the use of its equipment, but also in the understanding of essential technical concepts such as thermal image interpretation, operational ventilation, and many others.

These training courses enable firefighters to fully exploit the capabilities of our thermal imaging cameras, which are essential tools for improving the efficiency and safety of their operations.

For LEADER, it is essential to transfer knowledge and share expertise to ensure the success of every intervention in complete safety!
