FIRE THERMAL IMAGING TRAINING AT SDIS 62

On the days of 30th and 31st January 2024, LEADER, supplier of firefighting equipment, provided a course for 80 firefighters at the SDIS 62. The aim? To master the use of SEEK REVEAL FIRE PRO X thermal imaging cameras and fight fires more safely.
PARTICIPATING FIREFIGHTERS RECEIVED TRAINING ON :
1/ INTERPRETING THERMAL IMAGES IN OPERATION
One of the key aspects of this training course was the interpretation of thermal images in an intervention situation. Too often under-used, thermal imaging cameras offer a potential that firefighters must learn to exploit to the full.
The SEEK Reveal Fire Pro X offers several modes, such as Fire, Survey and Color, for enhanced infrared vision of intervention scenes. What's more, with its 4 GB memory, firefighters can capture up to 4,000 images, providing invaluable documentation for post-intervention analysis.
2/ MASTERING THERMAL FIRE CAMERAS SEEK
SEEK REVEAL FIRE PRO X thermal imaging cameras are specifically designed to quickly locate sources of heat - whether fires, casualties, etc. - in situations where every second counts.
Weighing just 195 grams, they are ultra-compact and feature a 2.4" display, offering ease of use even in extreme conditions.
IP67 certified, they are robust and resistant to damp and dusty environments, ensuring reliability in the field.
The training provided by LEADER enabled firefighters to discover the various functionalities of these cameras, such as the integrated 300 lumen LED lamp, guaranteeing optimal use in all situations.
Easy to operate, the camera has just three buttons for simplified menu navigation.
THE IMPORTANCE OF TRAINING
This course is important for firefighters, enabling them to take full advantage of the capabilities of SEEK REVEAL FIRE PRO X thermal imaging cameras.
In fact, these tools are essential for improving the efficiency and safety of firefighters in action, providing them with precise information for making fast decisions on the spot.
